Need valve cover gasket. What to upgrade?

Greetings. I unfortunately need to replace my valve cover gasket and a oil filter housing gasket. Any upgrades recommended while this is going on?

Thanks much.

If your completely OEM intake system including all hard piping is pretty much a must. Also if your spark plugs are going to be due anytime soon might as well get it out the way.

Good time to take a look at the injectors, clean them. Replace plugs and coils if mileage is right. Good time to plug the PCV ports in the head of you are going to do external low side PCV to reduce blowby at idle. Otherwise...

I'd recommend replacing the valve cover entirely if high mileage, which comes with a new gasket anyway. Hard to tell sometimes if the valve cover is actually cracked, and I'd cry if I replaced a gasket on a cracked cover.

Buy the complete valve cover that comes with a new gasket and PCV. I would also do spark plugs at this time.

As others have said, replace the entire valve cover, not just the gasket. Also a good time to do plugs and coils.

You should also replace the accessories belt and pulleys when you do the OFHG.

Thank you all! Definitely will change the cover and coils as well. Plugs have about 6k miles on them. A good time to look at turbo as well? Only 61k miles.
