If you want to move further towards the dark side, consider the gunmetal equivalent of our 1M wheels (359M M3 ZCP Wheels - Gunmetal Steel Pearlescent powder coating). A tad darker but not black. See for example (on an E90 3er):
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=527634 The cheapest alternative: don't wash the alloys - brake dust does the color job free of charge. |

When all factors are considered it was almost the cost of another 1M Coupe. So it was not something open to everyone it would not be cost effective to BMW M to do that several times over.

Thanks. That first one may help a little but the car is pre-LCI and the kit is different than the one Evan sold me. My kit came with no harness so I am going to pull the radio/cd chgr/AC units to see if there is an unused harness and plug in there somewhere. The first post above should at least get me that far!

Your car looks awesome.
I'm busy getting my E81 130i sprayed MC blue. The car was in an accident months ago. Gonna do the original 18" rims gunmetal. Go read my thread on our local forum: http://www.bmwfanatics.co.za/showthread.php?tid=24477. Look at page 9 for the front fenders sprayed. The rims currently on the car are temporary.
