Colorado Meet
I think we should meet up and get to know each other. Breakfast/lunch/dinner meet and a little cruise? Better do it now before the snow really comes down hard... any ideas?

Sounds good to me, though I need to get my driver side window fixed first. It's stuck in the down position at the moment.

I'd be down - need to get my car first though, haha. Should be this week! And then I'll need tint and a full front end crear bra wrapp before I take it anywhere on these ass roads....

I am. I've done a couple of the driving schools and have met up at several of the "Bimmer Burger Meets" at various Sonics.

You know, I'm not sure. I suppose it doesn't hurt.

A few folks to start out isn't bad... when will everyone get their vehicles fixed, picked up, etc? Does anyone know other folks in the Bimmer community, i.e. 3er, 5er who may be interested? Or should we just stick to to the 1er community?

I should be getting my car back tomorrow. This time around, it may be easier to keep it a mini 1er meet. The Rocky Mountain chapter of the BMW CCA has various meets/drives/autox/etc throughout the year. Here's their site: http://www.rmcbmwcca.org/

A small meet sounds good. What is everyone thinking in terms of a place to meet? Since it is kind of cold right now, I prefer pho, but I wouldn't mind grabbing a beer.

Pho, beer, or cars & coffee all sound like good ideas to me.

If we're just sticking with the 1er community, then we can go to Starbucks at Northfield Stapleton Mall off of I-70; I suggest next Sunday, 13 Dec. Weather for that week is forecasted to have snow showers on Tuesday and Wednesday. Hopefully it'll let up for the weekend.
If we want to be social and mingle with others, there's a Cars and Coffee Denver meet every Saturday from 0900-1200 at Southlands Mall. For Northfield Stapleton map & directions, click here. For Southlands map & directions, click here. Feel free to recommend other locales and/or activities. Last edited by Cris; 12-01-2009 at 07:11 PM.. |

I'm up in the Westminster/Broomfield area, but it doesn't matter to me where we'd meet. I'll most likely be up snowboarding on Saturdays, but a meet later in the day would probably work.

What's a good place to go snowboarding? I know any snow sports since I'm from Florida, but who knows... I'm willing to try it out when I find my balls. Edit: looks like Cars and Coffee Denver officially ended, but offseason, informal meets may still be going on. The next time they're going to get together is in May. |

There's numerous good resorts to go to out here. I have the 5 mountain pass which includes Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, and A-Basin. Other good resorts include: Copper Crested Butte Durango Mountain (Purgatory) Telluride Steamboat Winter Park Wolf Creek
