WTB: Front Strut Brace

Looking for a front strut brace/tower bar. I have removed the rain tray and run BMS filters. I would like something easily removable to access the engine and something that gives access to the top of the strut for adjustability.

Shipped to 03301

Thank you.

Do these actually add any rigidity to the front struts? Have there been any tests?

I have the Megan one and need to reinstall it.

I was looking to remove the 2 braces that span the tower to the firewall on each side. After looking a bit more at pics it seems they are left in with almost all of the braces, negating one of the reasons for me to purchase one.

I guess I am looking more for something like this, but at about a 3rd the cost ($720!) new. Open access to the strut top & easily removable arms for engine access.

Just get the 1M version. Fraction of the cost.

The 1m version attaches the same way at the tower, but at the firewall you would need to remove the rain tray cover to access the firewall bolt

Go with a Megan Racing strut mount and drill holes in the OEM bar to adjust coils. Kinda ghetto but works lol. Or go OEM M3

Fun fact - I have always believed that these strut bars were mostly for show and didn't add any real support. Fast forward to today... I removed my strut bar when installing my coilovers with much stiffer springs about a month ago + 3 track days (300lbs to 400lbs front springs). I try to install my strut bar tonight and come to find that the strut towers are now about 1/2in closer which I would assume is from the added stress of the coilovers and hard tracking. Would love to see some lap time comparisons. I was able to flex the bar and make it fit btw

If you're looking for easier engine access, I would consider the M3 strut bar setup from HP auto. Then get a M3 cowl setup to replace your rain tray.
