From memory he ran 11.2X on stock turbos.

Sorry Marty I had to throw that in there. 11.4 is a great time.

On a serious note once I get rid of these PSS's I wouldn't mind having another crack at WSID.

11.6@121 from memory on stock turbos, being absolutely driven to their absolute limits.

With the new tft inlets, IC and Stage 3 lpfp things should change

Ideas are being thrown around at the moment and Sunday week, 10's should be on the cards

Nitto NT01's for some serious grip

I'm looking forward to running the new NT01's too. Hoping I can find some new rear rims to have them mounted on. Either stocks or Apex 18's.

Have you managed to get some NT05R's or MT's?

Stiff sidewalls in the NT01's wouldnt be ideal for drag racing marty especially when every 1/10th's count and your chasing 10's

I found a set of rims with NT01's on them Marty. Going to look and collect them tonight if they look good. A quick spray black me thinks and I'm ready for the 1000m this weekend. I need to buy a Vbox sport soon too.

Cracked 128.5 mph today and that was when the gearbox was giving out on me

The gearbox cant handle the power at all

1st gear was limited to 14psi otherwise it would go netural
2nd gear was limited to 17psi otherwise it would go netural
3rd gear was limited to 19 psi otherwise it would go netural
4th was a waste of time even at 19 psi it would jump out of gear

best was 11.52@127.8mph and that's the gear box slipping in 2nd and 4th

Traction was no issue at all plenty of that

If the gearbox was good I would have seen well over 130mph easily

Not one good run today.

I had a few runs where I launched really well and ran 11.6@104mph with the gearbox jumping out of gear, imagine what it would have pulled if I even reached 128 mph, sub 11's for sure.

Have to address my transmission problems, need to make some phone calls on Monday.

Frustrating I bet, but jeez still some decent times and mph!!!

The 135i is turning into a huge moneypit

I've been driving manual all my life and this is my first auto performance car.

Good stuff mate. 128.5mph is serious power. That's very impressive

Is Level 10 still the go for trans upgrades?

Quick runs Marty. Closer to 11's by the week.

The Nitto NT01's ran well with my event though I had to really limit boost in first to just 6psi to get traction, 19 in second and full boost in all other gears. I experienced a lot of post shift bog in 4th to 5th and severe bog 5th to 6th. Will look at the logs and see what can be done to tune as much of it away.
Mosh they made NT01's in 265/35/18!
