Thanks! An interesting read. One thing's for sure, the number of fictitious customers placing orders with Priority 1 options at their local BMW Centers is getting ready to increase dramatically

Because lots of common colors and options have now been designated P1. Now if you want a car with Comfort Access and not the alarm the computer will require you to enter it as a sold order. Same if you want a Coral Red interior.

Look at all of the things they've designated, I'm honestly stunned. They're definitely trying to steer dealers into ordering certain configurations because they've determined that's better for the bottom line. With my dealer it doesn't matter, they just make up a fake customer and order what they want, I expect many other dealers are similar.

So if I want coral red, I have to pay the 1320 for it because none of the colored interiors are included with the "value package" correct?

No, you can get any interior color you'd like with the ZVP (myself, I'm waiting on confirmation now that I switched to lemon). You're just going to have to order a car with some of the colors now since they were switched to Priority 1 options.

I didn't want to steal any ideas, but it is the best color combo for sure. Now if I can get my Euro Delivery confirmation and my weekend will officially be perfect!

So when can we place an order for a 2011? I was going to order a 2010, but with the new pricing, I'll be saving around 2k and getting many more options than I had originally planned.

It's impossible to order a 2010 - they stopped building last month. You should be able to order a 2011 now - some people on the forum already have. BMW hasn't updated the configurator on their website, though, which might be throwing you off.

Hello: I'm new here, and have been looking for this information on this site for hours. It appears that it was once available and then removed. I'm about to enter the process of negotiating a price for ED. I would like to know where to start from.
Does anyone have the wholesale price for the 1 series for ED?
Thanks for your help

And how about the bmw configurator?

Online at the bmw website you can still configure only an obsolete model. Will sit tight and wait till that comes up for 2011.

Anyone else notice that half the colors have disappeared on BMWUSA? Can we still order a Blue Water 1-series? Special order?

Dark Blue, black, beige, silver, white, red. Who made the decision to make the 1 boring?

EDIT: Disregard, saw the complaints about this in another section. Guess BMWUSA.com needs to add in the Priority 1 options.

Give the site some time. This same thing happens every time the model year changes.

ya know I appreciate the free leather and iPod adapter in the value package but at the same time with the higher lease rates it looks like BMW is getting the same money regardless.
