Alpine White on Coral Red but what colour trim?
I just ordered my 2011 Alpine White on Coral Red 135i but I can't decide what colour trim to choose. The dealership told me it comes standard with Grey Poplar but I think it looks kinda odd with the coral red and black interior no? Here are my options:

I agree, thats what I have.. the glacier is a nice sporty touch, pairs well with the red seats.

thanks for the feedback guys! yeah i was thinking either the aluminium glacier or brushed aluminum but the grey poplar just looks weird with the black and red interior! i just got an e-mail back from the dealer and apparently there is no charge for the aluminum glacier trim but that's the only trim i can change it to so i guess my minds been made for me.

Grey Poplar. I don't like the "aluminum" in the 1 series. It looks cheap to me. The Grey Poplar is more classy, imo.
Coral Red w/ Grey Poplar: Much better.

I have the grey poplar and it matches nicely with black on red, but since your car is white, i'd go with the glacier aluminum, hands down.

thanks for the suggestions guys! i don't know if it's maybe because i'm 23 but i've NEVER liked wood in general... wood furniture, wood trim, i think the only thing that i like are dark hardwood floors LOL. wait - if you have nav the controller goes where the cupholder is? where are you suppose to put your drink?

Perfect position for your drink.
This is the holder you get when you have I-Drive. I love it.........others maybe not so much.

Carbon fiber trim, hands down. I've got it with the white/corral combo and I drool every time I get in the car (only had the car for a couple weeks). You have to tell your sales guy/girl to have it added at the port for you, its not a factory installed option. But yeah, it does cost a bit... I'll put some crappy iPhone pics up for you of mine in a sec here.

Black high gloss actually complements the car best when you consider the shadowline trim, the shadowline grills, the rear diffuser, the headliner and perhaps black rims if you have them.

I hear the gloss black looks like cheap plastic tacked on. I do get what you are saying though. I also ended up with a carbon fiber rear diffuser, front lip, hood and trunk, so I guess I'm just goin carbon crazy, haha.

But at the end of the day, it really is not a big deal. Both are going to be nice, and will look fine. I would like the car just as much with either trim choice.
