One more tidbit of good news for our friends in cold climates: heated seats are a stand alone option (and also come in the Cold Weather Pack)

I wonder why the 128i weighs 143lbs more than the 135i.

Also, I hope there is a headlamp washer delete. I assume its with the cold weather package only? No problems there considering it doesnt get cold here.

I made an error there. The brochure contains a typo, which shows just how preliminary it is. Here are the correct weights.

Unladen weights for manual and (automatic)
128i: 3252 (3329)
135i: 3332 (3384)

The 335i Coupe is listed on BMW's website as 3571, a 239 lb difference!

Sorry for the earlier error.

Because I did a bad job of forging the brochure. Sorry.

No fuel economy figures yet. I bet it hasn't been certified.

I've seen this often. They use the same basic press photos and simply print a disclaimer at the bottom saying "European Model Shown" :iono: I'd imagine it helps reduce the cost of the brochure
I've even seen versions where they photoshopped the NA reflectors onto an EU model (I think that was either a Z4 brochure or an Audi model... I forget)

a lot of US bmw brochures have cars with euro plates. Usually photoshop the orange reflectors on them to make the DOT legal.

1ster, just us a website like this to upload them. Higher resolution too please

Harold should have the pics now. I suspect you will see updated, high quality images in a few minutes.

When you see them, note that it lists the 135i manual's weight as 3732. That's the typo I was referring to. The correct weight has got to be 3332 to keep it in line with the other weights listed for the 128i and the 135i automatic. No way the manual trans weighs 400 lbs!

is the weight of the 335i on the website also unladen? I want a direct comparison on the weight. If it really is ~200lb's less with both unladen then that gives the 1 alot of brownie points in my decesion.

I'm guessing that 3732 is a typo for the manual car, and 3332 is my best guess. I'm assuming they mis-typed the "7" in that number.

Otherwise the weights are:

manual and (automatic)
128i: 3252 (3329)
135i: 3732 (3384)

That just doesn't make sense.

The manual 128i weighs 77 lbs less than the automatic. Hell, if the manual 135i is similarly svelt, then it only weighs 3307! 3332 is a conservative estimate since we can't be sure due to BMW's typo on this early brochure.
