DCT Gear Shift Lever Malfunctioning

Hey everyone,

Has anyone ever experienced the gear shifter on DCT transmission vehicles malfunctioning? These are the issues I am experiencing:

1. Will not go back into Park after hitting "P" so I end up turning the car off which will then force the car to go into "P". I get a message saying that the gear selector thing is not functioning properly.
2. The little green light that appears the drive mode (P, D/M, R, N) appears to be on and off... so maybe something wrong with electrical?

I'm not sure what the fix is... maybe I need to replace the entire gear shift assembly and if so, I wonder what the cost is... It's perfectly drivable as I can work around these issues but it would be wonderful to have it work properly.
