Regarding the flickering issue:
There is no flickering of the lights when you see it in person. There is a scientific explanation to it, but I'm not a scientist. HOWEVER, I am a photographer and through my past experience, I have encountered this issued through my lens. Basically look at a TV or monitor through your camera and you will see this flicker, when you can't see it with your naked eye. The new BMW angels do this too. Here is a video with the OEM new BMW F10 5-Series angels. They are LED also and will flicker too....

I hope this explains the flickering, which is NOT an issue at all.

Looks amazing John. Can't wait to see the ones for the ones. Coincidentally, I just saw how mine are coming along from JLC last night, and they look very similar. For those who are thinking about getting these, they look amazing in person, and like John said, the flickering is apparent in everything from lights to tvs to computers, but only to cameras, not to the naked eye. Just watch the next time the news is filming at a school and you can see the monitors are flickering. Anyways. keep us 1addicts update

question could they paint the inside lets say white if my car is AW instead of black when shipped to install this?

Thanks. Once they have the 1er pair done and fully tested they should be opening up the GB. I know as much as you guys know and maybe just a little bit more

If they can do black I believe they can do white

yep, they sure can do a custom paint scheme.

the just finished their first set for the Pre LCI E90

painted ambers and painted housing. they also got rid of the chrome.

i'm pretty sure we'll be seeing a set for the E82... very soon... possibly less than...

2 weeks from now??

haha, at least we won't have to wait as long as the E92 guys did!

I PMed luis from OSS a while back regarding this and he said he had no plans for the 1er
