Hey,

DBA currently have stock in the T2 Slotted for the front and rear rotors although I'm not sure on the numbers available. They also have standard rotors available which generally take 5-7 working days to get slotted. If you guys are interested I could give them a call and work out some kind of group deal?

I didn't take my own advice on the most recent set and didn't paint them so the rear ones look shit haha. The front ones have aluminium hats so they look great. If you're going to paint them, I'd probably recommend a solid colour like silver or black. I painted a previous set with clear and it ends up looking pretty brown anyway after a while.

Definitely nowhere near as bad as if you were not to paint it, but not as good as if you were to leave the aluminium hat unpainted.

just fyi having just installed these they are noticeably heavier then the stock rotors which are two piece with aluminium hats.

i was quite surprised at the weight difference to be honest.

I just checked and the OEM rotors 10.2kg on the front while the DBA's are 11.4kg. Back rotors are the same at 8.1kg.
Did the ones you get come with the silver coating? What did they set you back?

Just ordered some IPA DURA's last night from Ebay. AU$570 shipped to Sydney for front and rear. The drilled and slotted where cheaper shipping.

Let see how long they take to get here.

Now to find some pads

Ah sweet you can buy the two piece blank rotors from IAP too. I didn't actually realize the stock discs were 2 piece, currently I have 1 piece fronts, probably non genuine. I'd prefer blank discs vs the slotted/dimpled discs

But looks like you can buy 2 piece genuine blanks from FCP euro anyway for a similar price:

Oh you're game! lol

Maybe if you're careful about bringing them up to temp gradually during the warm up lap and also cool them down gradually on the cooldown lap you might get away without cracking them.

My 2 piece rotors from ECS weren't fully floating so probably had that going against it, but also it was the additional heat from the ProjectMu pads. They only had 1 proper crack from multiple track days on the DS2500s before I destroyed them with 1 day on the HC800s

Perfect, great to hear. I've gone through 5 sets of DBA rotors and can never fault them either.

Sorry for the long bump. Looking for front rotors soon. Those who got the IAP or DBA T2's. Any long-term review/ feedback?
