If 135i is 88Ibs lighter than 335i (3571Ibs), means that it weights 3483 or almost a full 200Ibs heavier than an E46. Now I wonder where's the 3267Ibs rumor from...oh well, just gotta wait.
Its crazy how every thread turns into a pricing or weight thread....haha Anways, its no rumor. The curb weight will be 3274. BMW includes 75kg for luggage and gas. So subtract that figure from whatever BMW posts on writing as the EU weight.

Kool, good to know that. I knew it should be a lot less than the other weight post (By a 335i owner) suggested. 3274Ibs is money! thanx! Now back to the color thread...

In my opinion...the new 1 series is what the current 3 should have been. In someways I am really shocked that BMW is making this move.
still to early to tell, we'll find out after we test drive the 135

bmw was probably faced with endless compromises in designing the e46, the people buying it for fun practicality and the hardcore enthusiasts. so they split it between the new 3 and a 1 series. made the 3 a little more practical, fitting in better with the mid-size market and gave US the 1. but really, as was just said above, we wont know anything til we drive some product
