Good stuff.

I fully agree with you........

Oxigin do have some nice looking rims also. Still have not bought anything but have realized there is much better looking rims for the same price as 270M that seem to fit the 1M.

Those M6 looks good too. Are you sure the fitment is the same as a 1M. I thought the centre bore is different.

I have also style 270. With 20mm spacers rear it s perfect. I have a bought a second set very cheap on the internet. They were brand new with brand new tires for 1200 euro lol

Marcel i use them mainly for drifting days with the 1M. And in winter for winter tires.

I like them very much in a driving aspect. Same sizes front and rear makes the car less prone to understeer. The balance of the car is much better.

Garage List
They're either 216M or 260M I forget but they're the same wheels really. No spacers or centering rings were required. They just bolt right on.

As y'all can see, I got the 18" M3 wheels and put on the Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3Ds in 235/40 front and 255/40 rear. While I think the rims look GREAT on my BSM (and I'm thinking about having my std 19s powder coated anthracite) the tires are so-so in the cold/dry. LOTS of tread flex and I can tell that I've got a smaller contact patch in the rear (so I guess the tread flex won't last all THAT long )

Of course, on the way home I ran into a small BOULDER...

(Not sure if you can see from the pic but it friggin DENTED the hood FFS!)

Anyway, I'm not TOO pissed off about it since my 1M is a daily driver and this kind of crap is impossible to control (within reason at least ) I can take small comfort in the fact that a clear bra would not have helped much on this one
Love the look. What BMW model number are these wheels? Also, is there any need for spacers, etc. to make them work with the 1M?

Andre, they fit perfect i just had to go with a smaller tire in front to avoid rubbing. Bought them for 690 euro as new with tires slightly used.
Did ///M training with this set up.

Did also a search for the 270 style at the time but no luck then.

that's exactly what I will do with them :-)

Which tires do you put on for drifting? I guess you only swap the backwheels and keep the normal summer wheels in front or?

@japi: I had a near death experience with european rubber so not going that way again. An Alpina B3 3.3 with european rubber. Europe Road 4 outside Stockholm (very well maintained highway) and quick weather switch. From good to raining and then freezing. Driving very carefully (20 years+ of snow/ice driving) and the car just spinned around in 100 km/h. Glad to be alive. If I have spikes or Nordic rubber that would not have happened. Almost all central European friction/all year rubber is terrible on ice and snow. Some actually really dangerous (usually Korean brand winter tires). Best in tests over here are Nokian Hakka 7 and Continental ContactIce for spiked winter tires. Then Micheline X-ICE, Nokian Hakka R, Goodyear ultra grip Ice, Continental Contivikin Contact 5 where the best without spikes. The central european/friction/all year type rubber was all very bad in the test. The ones that actually got a "avoid/dangerous" were (from worst first): Toyo Snowprox S953 (terrible got a skull instead of "-"), Vredstein Snowtrac 3, Savo Eskimo HP, Dunlop SP Winter Sport. All of the last ones got a "-" and the best was +++++. This is for regions where you do get both snow and ice. The last 5 was the worst of the friction tires so there are ok ones if you never get snow and ice.

No i put all 4 on.

I have now 4 toyo c4s on and they drift perfectly this is my road setup. If i drift on track i go for toyo front or any other good brand like dunlop michelin bridgestone etc. and on the rear you buy the cheapest you can find some chinese cheapo s. are perfect.

The nm of the 1M and 235/40 wide is no problem to smoke em to pieces
