Bored - Stupid Question About Wheels

I notice the wife's F10 535i has 8.5 x 19 ET33 & 9 x 19 ET44 with 245/40 R19 & 275/35 R19

Reckon I can get these on the 1ER?

Front is too low of an offset, you need ET45 or higher with a 8.5in wheel.

Rear would work fine with a smaller tire. Like 255/30/19

Offset is too low on both front and rear rims.

The rear will would stick out (wider) 14 mm (0.6'') more than the stock 264 style wheel.

Thanks Guys,

Ouch that's serious scrape territory. So they'd look good but just couldn't drive it anywhere.

Heres a post for you:

Use a wheel calculator to work out the movements left to right. Whilst its doable, you will need to do some work, buy camber plates, etc.

It could work with smaller tyres, offsets are pretty much the same as the TE37s I ran

18x8.5et35 with 225/40
18x9.5et50 with 255/35
Tyres were R888s which are wide and chunky.
Guards were rolled and ~2.5 degrees camber on the front.
Obviously 18s vs 19s would make a difference.
