Delayed BOV "Whoosh" on Neutral WOT

Last night I the car had a rough start/idle. I proceeded to raising/lowering the RPMs in neutral. Before I got over it I did a WOT and let off at around 6k (Still in neutral) and it sounded like the RPMs dropped from 6k down to 4k then I got the "Whoosh" sound.

Under load when driving the car the BOV acts normal. Why is it when the car is in neutral the BOV is delayed?

Check for vacuum leaks if your idle is rough.

Been wondering how people have been checking for leaks.... I know when I had Audi's we had a little setup to run pressure through the lines without turning the car on making it possible to listen for leaks but I'm wondering how people are doing so with these cars and if its any different for N54 TT and N55 ST
