By the way I think it is not very easy to order the exhaust without the tips nowadays, I was able to do it because I know the chief mechanic in BMW office which works directly with Akrapovic and he ordered it himself, anyway Akrapovic didn't allow them to order the exhaust and tips seperately so everything was sent together, but BMW only sold me the exhaust and kept the tips for themselves (which are useless) so they made me a favor. They still have the tips in their showroom after 7 months.

TLDR, but I want to order these version:

mlcgd21's "AK Style Carbon Fiber Akrapovic" Measurements:
60,5mm/61mm inlet, 80mm outlet, 13cm length
w/ Titanium look with Carbon Fiber on the outside

Stock Akrapovic Carbon Fiber Tips Measurements:
60,5/61mm inlet, 85mm outlet, 12cm length

It was advised that you should PM Crystal Tuning directly for the custom measurements.

I also ordered a set to see how they'll look over the stock Akrapovic tips

These are the dimensions I went with:
60,5mm/61mm inlet, 89mm outlet, 13cm length
(this was the closest to the stock Akrapovic exhaust tips I was able to get to)

I order these using the exact same dimensions as above:

60,5mm/61mm inlet, 89mm outlet, 13cm length

The tips are too wide and are touching when installed. I have yet to try the exhaust out but am concerned that they will rattle under vibration. I do not recommend getting this size - I would go with a 75-80mm outlet instead.

I'm considering ordering some replica tips as well - unfortunately the Aliexpress vendor that mlcgd21 has used no longer has the right sizes to fit the Akrapovic system for the 1M.

Would these fit (link below)? Size: Inlet 60mm / Outlet 76mm seems to be available. Just curious if Input size of 60mm would still be fine - noticed you guys have mentioned 60.5 - 61mm Inlet sizes only.

Pardon my lack of knowledge but for these tips if you only had a single exhaust on each side do you need to cut the tips off for these to fit? Or can you simply just slip them on existing ones and tighten it?

I know for dual exhaust tips it probably wont fit because its too close together.

I was hoping these could simply just slip onto my existing exhaust tips on my e92 335i

You have to take the current tips out and put the news ones in.

I bought it from aliexpress, plenty of sellers there, you have to PM them and ask for the specific measures. I told the seller exactly what I needed.

Thanks for the tip, what measurements did you use and did you have any fitment issues?

No problems at all, my bmw dealer fit them.

Each tip has : 60/61mm inlet, 80mm outlet (carbon part, not the exhaust tip itself) and around 125mm lenght.

This seller does 60mm/76mm

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/car-...533892516.html

I prefer this style. Looks easier to maintain than the later Akrapovic copy versions. Ordered some and will post once I get them. Don't have the exhaust yet and won't time till about late August I suspect.

Anyone here using 76? Does it look really small? I've msged bunch of them on Alibaba but it seems like no one will make 85. It's either 76 or 89mm

it depends if 76mm is the size of the outer carbon part or the metal part of the tip, the carbon adds some bulk

Haven't received them yet. And probably won't be able to do report on fitment for about 2months.
