I got one of those Instant Pot's for Christmas. Being a pretty decent home chef, it was really the perfect gift.

First thing I made was some pulled chicken taco's, which were amazing.

Then a couple days ago I made a nice Beef Stew, which I havent made in forever. Took less than an hour include prep-time for the entire dish! Taste just as good as one that took all day.

Toss our political differences aside.
That roast dish reminds me of my late grandma's on Sundays. I'd need Louisiana hot sauce and crunchy cornbread too these days.

If you and yours enjoy southern food...
Ida Claire in Addison. To die for and not too expensive. Killer cocktails. I think they offer like 8 different Juleps but I'm not a Julep guy. Shrimp and grits is my usual but everything is delish. Cool environment. Brunch is go home and pass out good.

Reservations recommended if evening. $$

Go and you'll go back and back...

Thanks man! And I just happened to have some Cornbread and Red Devil (cayenne pepper sauce) on hand.

I've heard about that place in Addison. May have to check it out! I love Cajun! And I absolutely love Southern comfort aka Soul Food!

I love my instant pot. I use it at least once a week. Honestly, every kitchen should have one.

Check it out. Again, great and unusual cocktail menu.
They have a shell boil that I haven't had but the pecan smoked oysters are ridiculous. Michael 88 Irvin was going after something one time in there. Lively joint.

Filets off the grill with garlic lemon asparagus and overstuffed baked potatoes later.

Peace.
Out.

Edit:
Forgot this tidbit of info. The pork belly breakfast biscuit sandwich at Ida.
Forget about it. I want it as my last meal.

I make grilled pizza sometimes. It's absolutely amazing. Give it a shot if you haven't tried it! Just make sure you put enough olive oil on the dough so it doesn't stick to the grill grates.

Edited for profanity typo. Lol

Yup I've done that too. Need to work quickly when putting directly on the grates. Tonight I used an Emile Henry pizza stone in the oven at 550 degrees. I haven't tried using the pizza stone on the grill but I plan to try it soon.

Chicken korma on a bed of quinoa with roasted curry cauliflower and roasted spicy Brussels sprouts.

As always, 100% homemade (wife, not me).

The pork chop posted above was a previous meal. Last night I had a rib eye steak at Ruth's Chris. Here is the aftermath.

Hold on. Is this a thread about what you made for dinner? Or just restaurant pics? I was hoping for the former...

Wifey's pasta puttanesca. Tasty stuff.

I could seriously deal with a Mediterranean diet most of the time, but I still need an occasional detour into Thai or Indian.
