Help me with leather repairing
Fellow detailing addicts,
I've got this problem: (an old pic before cleaning the leather) (this is how I bought the steering wheel) I've found Furniture Clinic - they make repair kits for all types of BMW leather. I have got Dakota Oyster seats and the yellow stripe appears to be Phoenix Yellow. Is FC stuff any good or is there anything better for BMW? Thanks.

I had the same problem on my 1er. I had tried lots of leather cleaners... but nothing really worked until I tried Swissvax stuff. Its expensive at around ~100 euros for their kit... but damn if it didn't make my leather look like new! I really recommend their "leather cleaning kit".

I had a German friend who found an upholstery shop in the Wurzburg area to replace the leather on his seats. It wasn't very expensive... I think 400 euros per seat. I thought it would be much more. He said they also use a higher quality leather too. Maybe ask around at your local upholstery shops.
