I don't think so - that's pretty aggressive fitment, even for stock suspension. You'll see the wheels/tires will sit pretty much outside the body.

Use this site to compare stock size/offset to your aftermarket options. Read how much the wheels "poke out" compared to stock and you can just eyeball where your stock wheels/tires sit and add the amount they will move outward to see what I mean:

https://www.willtheyfit.com/

Do this for front and rear and you'll understand. For example, your rears will sit almost 30mm further outward than the stock 18" fitment!!! I have 10mm spacers in the rear on my stock wheels, and I had to get the rear fender rolled a bit to avoid rubbing (granted I have a slightly lower suspension). Your fitment is going to be a further 20mm further outward!

Short answer...not going to work without a lot of body work.

I would say no, that will require significant mods to get to fit. That is not even remotely enough offset.

APEX literally tells you what will fit and what wont.

Concave Setup
Recommended for those who prefer concavity at all costs.

Front: 18x9" ET30 with 225/40-18 tires
Rear: 18x9.5" ET35 with 255/35-18 tires
Requires front and rear fender roll and pull.
Requires front and rear negative camber to prevent rubbing.

Still thinking about cutting my fender lips off. Rolling gets almost nothing due to the double layer steel quarter.

I dont recall what my wheel fitment is but its really aggressive. I'm pretty sure theyre 18x8.5ET35 and 9.5x35 but i cant remember exactly but they rub in the rear and im on BC Racing Coilovers on almost maxed setting for track use:

The staggered wheels we designed specifically for this chassis are 18x8.5 ET45 Front and 18x9.5 ET58 rear to give you an idea of the offsets you should be shooting for. We make these in the EC-7 design as well so those are what I would recommend although we generally recommend wider tires when running these wheels. Someone else already brought up the fitment guide which is another great resource.

If you guys could make a 17x8.5 et45 or higher that'd be awesome for us track folks

Well I'm getting my fenders rolled tomorrow and hoping I can get these damn et40 offsets to fit, will be extremely pissed if it doesn't work. At this point I'm pissed off that the original BMW engineers back in the 2000s even put this stupid 1 series hub on the car. Why not put the damn E90 hub on to begin with as to not have us suffer this misery of finding a proper square setup for the car. In my mind makes no sense.

We actually have a 17x9 ET52 designed for the 1 series that should be launching soon. The goal with that wheel is to be a direct fit in the rear with a spacer used up front for track guys or other customers that value the 17" diameter/light weight as well as giving you the ability to rotate wheels and tires between the front and rear axles. Shooting for 200TW 245/40-17 and 255/40-17 compatibility I believe. More details on these wheels very soon.

Track or even us DD folks. Why 9 52 instead of 8.5 48-50?

Better 245-255 width tire fitment. Same reason I went with 9.5 square to fit 275s. Would have gone 10" square but couldn't fit the rear.

These cars love square fitments. Super neutral and with fatter aspect ratios you get with 17-18" diameters grip is better.

How in the hell do you fit a 275 tire on this car; front or rear?! What tire model and suspension? A 275 tire on a 128i would basically mean pedal to the metal around the entire track! 😂

1M front clip and rolled rear fenders with a heavy mashup of M parts on nonM subframes.

It's not possible on the stock narrow body.
