Jez - When are you getting these fitted?

I still need to get my wheels and interior sorted, but I really like the look of these as well! Is Lee fitting / trimming them for you, or are you having them done elsewhere?

You haven't even had a run in service mate, so no will never be a problem for you as they will never be sat in 'much' and will just become another visual feature in your garage

Well that too, but then you wont need to clean them anyways, they need to be soiled first which inturn means used

They are being fitted in about a months time at Specialist Cars Stevenage as they need to re-code them.
The seats are coming direct from Recaro in Stuttgart. I know the OEM Director there and he has organised these to be made for me with the Kyalami Orange stitching and BMW Performance logo. If anyone else wants them I can get them.

I heard you're getting your wheels done at Lepsons in Gillingham, good choice, they are really good there

My car is driven daily so I would probably struggle to keep them looking good, shame as they look great but I guess it has saved me a few quid.

I had the performance seats more then a year in my 335 and drove about 25k-30k miles with them. The alcantara looked like new. Just a small spot with some worn leather on the driverseat from getting in the car. With good quality leather this should not be an issue though. Of course, you have to take care a bit.

The only problem Ive found with Alcantara is the fibre tends to go bobbly in areas of contact, seen this a bit on steering wheels. However this is easily fixed with a Bic type razor. Really easy to maintain otherwise.

dropped my seats at the shop this weekend. They should turn out the same as the ones on the pics I posted (except the carbon parts). Anybody here already has installed them? Jezzer?

To avoid painting / putting a foil on the grey plastic parts in the headrests I am looking to get the spare parts of the Recaro Sportster CS which are black.
For people who are interested, here the drawing of the Sportster CS with all the spare part numbers in it.

Seats should arrive from Germany some time next week. Booked in with BMW dealer on Sat 17th for fitting. Just hope they arrive in time for our trip to Silverstone on Sunday 18th

Seeing the seats in the pics on here had me about 70% wanting to order them but after seeing them in your car today at the PistonHeads Sunday Service Meet at Silverstone my mind is made up

Can you send me the details of how to order as i would like set for my 1M ASAP.

Thanks
