side mirror glass options

My 2008 135i side mirror glass is bluish and warped looking and pretty hard to see out of. I assume the heated mirrors caused something to warp. I'm getting the car repainted and my paint guy says the mirror glass from BMW is $250 per side! He tried ordering mirror glass without the heating element for $80 per side, but the connectors would not work. Has anyone come across a decent replacement at a reasonable cost?

Thanks!

Lookup anti-blind spot bmw e82 mirrors on ebay. One pair I got looks so much better than oem, they are tinted blue for anti-glare, and there are no blind spots. Couldn't be happier but none will be heated if that matters to you. I think it was 60ish for the pair and you pop them off then pop it in, easy diy

You can get heated blindspot mirrors all over eBay, from $60/pr. Even genuine BMW for $90 each.

I just bought a pair for my Volvo from one of the eBay vendors, quality was fine. Will probably get a pair for my e88 too.

Had same problem with mirrors. Found a set (on eBay) that just "pasted" onto originals. But then I did not need heated and auto dim was of little concern.
Result is much better visibility than originals at the end with much lower cost.

Just make sure anything you buy will fit your vehicle. The mirrors on Pre-LCI e82s are a different shape and size.

parameter is correct. When I ordered mine, I knew mine were much smaller than the post LCI mirrors. The ones I got, fit exactly and are not noticeable unless you know the OE mirrors discolor over time. (And these have not started that in 3 years)
