Alan, I just cracked open a bottle of Aberlour 16 last night. Nectar of the Gods. Aside from the snow, you have some enviable property. Does Aberlour have an outlet store?

You're right, DC. Some incredible light there. Great shot.

I thought of a single malt too, last night, but reached for the Mezcal Vago Mexicano, Mark and Alan. I don't think that you'll be able to find it in Scotland, Alan, but Mark may be able to find a bottle. Anyone that likes fine tequilas should try the Vago Mezcals. The Mexicano is smoky and smooth. No burnt oak or maple to "distort" the taste. (Just kidding guys ;-)

Like with my Scotch, I drink my tequila on the rocks, so I like a little edge to stand up to the ice.

Alan, beautiful home in a beautiful setting. With that snow, it could be here in Colorado. That bay window looks like an inviting place to enjoy a single malt with a friend...or lady friend.

Both very nice shots guys. Last night in a nod to my own heritage, it was a tumbler of Tullamore D.E.W. for me

That being said the most recent RX-7 shot is in Explore right now. It's in 6 groups. So we at least know 6 groups is not too many. I'm no were near 44 and it's been a year or more since I've had one in explore.

Congrats on the Explore.

Is the image with 4,300+ views? I love that one.

Ed, great harrier shot. I haven't gotten a good shot of one in months.

Thanks Dave. I got several even better than that yesterday that I still need to process. I had a pretty good outing up to the NWR's. I think I feel a cold coming on this Friday to head out to the other two that are south of here

The fastest bird (actually fastest animal period) in the world takes a brake. From a different angle you could see the goose down in its talons showing the remnants of a recent meal

The original Targa was a super car for me. Take off the roof and it felt like you were in a full convertible.

You guys make me want to spend money on some expensive supertelephotos and get out and shoot some nature.

As much as I shoot cars, my real passion is landscape and wildlife. The car thing is just 2 hobbies crossing paths and now I've inherited the duties of club Photographer by my friends.

You'll still see us post a car every so often. Also, I'm ex-official photographer for a couple of my bands and some things at church.

I think I remember that you have a 70-200mm f/2.8. That's well suited for mammals, particularly with the EF 1.4x and 2.0x TC-III attached. Of course, your primes are really well suited to landscape.

I run into lots and lots of photographers with the 100-400mm as their go-to lens. The Nikon guys are all slobbering over the new 200-500mm which is priced affordable and can be hand held easily.

Thanks Alan. Though not uncommon around here, it's still a rare opportunity to get that close to one.
