P3106 Code. What is it?
As the title said I am pulling a P3106 code and I have no idea what it might be. I do not have a cat but the JB4 said it is a inefficiency code. I did a little searching and found different things
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1379551 This thread said it was an O2 sensor. http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=850627 This thread said its an inefficiency code https://bmw.spool street.com/threads...odes-list.580/ This says its a faulty injector. Any thoughts on what it might be?

Just an FYI. I asked what P3106 was in the Cobb thread and got the following response from Cobb:
"Those are both codes for Catalyst efficiency (just reported in 2 different ways). If you're running a catless DP with anything less than Stage2, you will get these codes. -Josh" Seems normal according to the Cobb dudes....just another way of reporting a cat efficiency. Take some logs to verify it's all good and call it a day. |
