So my plan is to go straight to stage two+. The car has a stupid amount of power as it is but looking for something a little more.
I currently these mods on the car.
BMS dual cone intake
An aluminum ebay charge pip with a Tial BOV
VTT crank case breather
What else do I need to add to safely go stage 2?
Keep in mind this is my daily so if I have to splash a little more cash to insure that is will be reliable then by all means I will do so.

They recommend FMIC and DPs, although at least for N55 they have a setting available if you're using stock/catted DPs.

As long as you don't beat on the car, you can run that tune with zero mod's.

Why run a tune though if you aren't gonna use it?

By "don't beat on it" I meant dont track it or heat soak the crap out of it with back to back to back runs. For most people, a spirited 0-80 on a freeway onramp is the most they push these cars, and for that you don't need FBO's to enjoy an extra 50hp from a tune.

Oh yeah, I drive it alittle harder than that. Like take it to drag nights and to the track on occasion so the FBO is probably the way i need to go?

I hear inlets are good for N54.

For FMIC you can get bar and plate (cheap, heavy as fuck, takes long to heat soak AND recover) or tube and fin (lightweight, recovers quickly, choice of all road racers).

The stock IC is tube and fin which is good because it's lightweight, but it's too small for enthusiast use.

Wagner Evo 2 is good tube and fin IC. You won't believe how heavy these things are and the car is already super front heavy once you start removing easy weight.
