Hi forum.

I am looking to buy used 2011 135i (N55).

When I was expecting the car, I found this nob underneath driver cabinet.

Dealer seems to not know what these are for either.

Can you guys chime in with your knowledge what this nob is for?

Gain control for an amp that was previously installed is my guess. Where does the wiring lead? If it goes to the trunk or under a seat, it's probably what I mentioned.

Personally I hate dealing with cars that have had sound systems/alarms/other electronic unknown mods.

Gain control for a subwoofer, most likely. Had an identical switch for my Rockford Fosgate Amp.
