I did the 18% carbon tint and could not be more pleased. If that is an option, I would highly recommend it.

I just had my rear window re-tinted with 3M, I am not sure what type of tint was on the rear window before but my comfort access now works correctly.
Note it did not affect my radio at all, but before my OEM alarm could only be set within 5ft and my comfort access only worked when my key was in my front pocket. I had tried replacing the key battery, dealer inspection/reprogramming the comfort access, a brand new key and nothing improved it until I installed the 3M tint. I would guess this is only an issue with comfort access cars. |
