hi hugo - yeah youhave to pay the congestion charge but in Feb it gets WORSE - he will charge £25 ($50!!) for cars emitting 225g/km!!, no exemptions...so that counts our lots of cars for me!

it's mt own business car so no probs for me, but the tax breaks arent so good now anyway, for anyone.

25 pounds each time the car enters London proper? Or a month, or yearly? Yikes!!

it goes like this - per day (7.30am-6.00pm) a 225g/km+ car enters the C charge area - the central london most people would be familiar with - they are charged £25 NO EXEMPTIONS. in the past people who live in the zone (like me) are discounted 90% of teh current £8 charge, which makes it affordable. Now I cannot justify a more polluting car than 225g. Initially it smarts a bit, effectively being told what you can and can't buy. Then you realise there are manufacturers who make cars that sneak in just below the rules - the you feel quite clever (and, ironically 'eco', even though your car is still quite a polluter - just as much as an SUV that comes in at 226g...)

Good old Ken! We luv 'im!

not this thread but thinking about alpina 19" rims for the future so i can get rid of those runflats too - whaddyathink?
:biggrin:I would gladly pay £650 to get rid of the sunroof, though I 'd prefer it was $650. sounds nice though  can wait to see

not that i have seen. best thing you can do is go to the bmw.co.uk configurator - they have images of the hatch in white and you can configure them to your interior taste too (though some leather colours are missing)

it seems that you can't choose alpine white on the 135i and you can't choose the 5 spoke wheels.

however i did configure this: red on red. i'm not sure if the pics may be too large (first time posting pics on this site).

no, you're right, not on the configurator, but AW is available in reality, in december - looking at the dealer specs in the thread on the general forum. also there are pics of the hatch in white on the uk site and these are quite accurate in my view, if stylised, since i've seen the car. basically the lighter colours really do look better on ths car - as opposed to the 3er where the dark ones suits its more soap bar shape..IMO of course.
