Your car is probably too new to have sediment in the bottom of the tank like one poster suggested, and even if the fuel pump does go, don't fret, it's a new BMW and it's under warranty. Just don't mention it to the dealer. Relax and enjoy the rest of your ride. If you live in the DC area, that would be the least of my worries.
