it will pass a visual and with an 02 SIM it will pass any OBD2 testing. The more efficient flow we are pretty confident it will pass a sniffer. However, there is no way for us to possible test all states different regulations. It is purely bolt on and you can switch back to your OEM DPs with no modding.

Would you recommend to buy the DP first or cat back exhaust first? I know "both" will be the ultimate answer but my budget is limited. Thanks.

This all depends on what your looking for. If your looking for max power I would go RR Catless DPs. If your looking for something to give you great sound, good power, and weight reduction go with the RR exhaust. Either way you will be happy with the results

I would buy downpipes since I'm a HP junkie. However most people would get the exhaust.

So if I'm reading this right are there installation issues with the first version RR DP's and if so are the issues the same with the catted versions? I have a set of catted DP's and just hope I don't end up with vibration issues, or some glitch with the install, anyone care to comment?

Thanks,
F

I have been working on getting the stock Down Pipes out of my car for the last 4 hours. I am now ready to install the Riss Down Pipes I will be tackling that first thing in the morning. I am doing this in the driveway with hand tools and ramps, so it can be done with out a lift. I am hoping to have them in and drivng in two hours so I think this is a 6 hour driveway job for one person. I will let you know tomorrow. And a review and dyno to come

I believe the O2 is only for the catless.

Catted DPs 99% of the time don't need 02 SIM. Of hundreds of sets of catted sold we only had 3 people that needed an 02 SIM. Passing emissions would be impossible for me to honestly say from state to state having different regulations. But I have very confident it will pass.

I installed mine in my driveway getting the original stuff out was a pain but Anthony and the guys at Riss were very helpful. Once everything was out the Riss pipes went right in the fitment was perfect. The power I do not know what to say 1st gear is now worthless I have to take off in 2nd and still get a lot of wheel spin. The power and torque is amazing wait till I get the plenum and DV's I am going to get on the dyno for you guys. I think the numbers are really going to be record breaking.
