The N54 is still a winner

I know how much people complain and worry about the HPFP issues with the N54. That doesn't mean it is anything less than spectacular, and the top gear-heads in the world know it!

Just a friendly public service announcement from a fellow 1Addict. Hopefully the weather is nice wherever you are. Go for a drive, roll down the windows an enjoy an amazing car. Forgive her faults and she will love you back

Pretty sure they put the N55 and the N54 together because every single car besides the 1M are all the N55 in 2011.

BMW 3-litre DI twin-turbo (BMW 135i, 1 M Coupe, 335i, 535i, X3 35i, X5 35i, X6 35i, Z4, 640i, 740i)

Sorry Aries, They were talking about the N54's and not the N55. Also several of your 2011 listed cars are N54's (not just the 1M).

Ok guys, while I appreciate the spirited debate and dedicate research, I did not intend for this to become N54 vs. N55 yelling match. And if the N55 IS included in the award, great!

The point of the original post was to remind those of us that worry about the longevity of the engine and possibility of issues that we still have a GREAT CAR!

Take a break from sitting in front of your computer, and go for a drive. Or get the summer coat of wax on your baby. She deserves it for the award, wether she has a N54 or N55!

New Guy out!
