Buy 1M with accident reported?

Carfax shows 2 owners and 1 accident with no airbag deployment. Would the accident be a deal breaker for you?

The accident probably was not that bad if the airbags did not deploy. Wouldn't be a deal breaker if it was priced accordingly. However, the price does not reflect this car's accident history and mileage in my opinion.

Depends on price. Look up the vin in 1M registry and find original owner. Ask how bad and who repaired. I would expect lower price too.

My first 1M had a mishap at the dealer where they spilled droplets of chemical on paint and repainted one side at best body shop in town. They replaced window seals etc even though damage was so minimal and no body damage whatsoever. The new owner bought it a independent dealer and when she took it to BMW dealer they told her it had been in accident and repaired because they saw something new underneath. She was upset but luckily dealer had my contact info. I provided her pictures of the tiny stains and re-spray receipt from BMW that also had lifetime warranty. She was happy after that and still has the car. So see if you can find the owner in here and IM him. It was probably not bad. Good luck!
