the intake manifold is said to be the same. some people are diskussing wether there is a software change in the manifolid or not. a part which really is differen between 130i and 125i is this one:
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...65&hg=13&fg=20 PART 10 its only worth changing it when you change the software as well by the way - wintertuning (german website) also offers a software mod of the 125i to reach ~274PS http://wintertuning.de/index.php?opt...111&Itemid=112 |

There is a bunch of information on parts differences in the "my 128 project" thread in the engines area. The 265hp N52 has a different intake versus some of the others, different injectors versus others, and a different exhaust (2 pieces) versus the lower hp versions. The parts would be pretty expensive. There is also a thread in the 3 series forum where a couple guys have installed the intake manifold of the higher hp version and gotten less than 10hp. If you put in all the different parts, I think you would get more than 10 hp but you might also need reprogrammed.
There are many parts that are the same, like the intake and exhaust camshafts, intake and exhaust valves, etc.. If you really want to do this, I would open up a couple windows in RealOEM, put your vehicle in one window and a vehicle with the hp you want in the other. Check the intake and exhaust parts and see how many you need. I think it's possible to change but I think it will be several thousand dollars. The reason reprogramming gets all the hp in turbo motors is they just jack up the boost. You can't do that on a NA engine. You have to reduce restrictions to the airflow in the intake and exhaust. Jim

Yup, I got an answer.
It costs 900€ and they do a Spring price down to 700€... I'm already planning a few vacation days near Munich ... http://wintertuning.de/images/storie...ter-125i_1.jpg |
