E88 top seems sluggish. Anyone else experience this?

My 2012 E88 seems like the top is getting sluggish. If it is on flat ground it seems to work as normal except for the loud ass slap when the back window folds forward and hits the top brace. But, if I'm parked on a hill, esp with the rear of the car higher or if im driving through the neighborhood operating the top I sometimes have to reach up and give the top a push to help it finish folding. At times it will come to an almost complete stop and you can hear the motors straining. Is this normal? Hasn't been an issue in the past that I can think of. From what I understand the window "slap" is "normal" but that certainly doesn't seem right to me either. Just want to make sure that I'm not expecting too much of the motors if operating the top on a hill is considered a no no.

My 2013 does the same thing. Especially, in the hot summer.

Same here. Any serious incline makes the pump struggle and sometimes won't complete the cycle. Scared the heck out of me the first time it failed and the red light came on. Found level ground and started the cycle over again, no issues.

That said, I've contemplated putting some sort of lube on the pivot points, but I hesitate because I don't want any oil to damage or discolor the top. Anyone have suggestions on what to use on the pivot points? I've thought about some graphite...

Aren't these systems hydraulic? Probably could use some new fluid. I wonder if it's serviceable.

EDIT: lol this looks like it sucks
