$2.01 for premium in Kansas City, KS. It's cheaper on the MO side of the city by about .10/gallon, but when Heinrich dings and tells me he needs gas, i go to the nearest station.

A friend of mine had a problem of paying for gas when first arrived in US. It was in Texas, so he just filled up gas and went to cashier telling I would like to pay for fuel. Just imagine surprise of the cashier.

We call it propane, and you can get the best from Strickland Propane in Texas. Call Hank Hill.
Sorry, couldn't resist.

We pump it out of the ground here in Canada and send it by pipeline to the US - it's called Natural Gas, and heats many homes in North America.
But everyone in Canada and US calls where you fill up a "Gas Station". It's just part of our slang. Gas = Gasoline, Jet Fuel = Kerosine. Truck Fuel = Diesel. Natural Gas = Natural Gas. Propane = Barbeque/camper. |

It was about $9/gallon in Munich when I did my ED last Sept and I drove 3083 miles in Europe, $1000 for gas alone in 2 weeks.

The prices from June - Sept. 2008 were really insane. But now its just fun to drive and to fill up for these prices..

I'm in Cupertino and work in Palo Alto. I know of the one 76 on Woodside in Redwood City that carries 100, but that's about it.

Shell 93 in central Ohio:
12/30: $1.92 1/9: $2.09 1/25: $2.00 2/1: $1.94 So… roughly $2/gallon. Much nicer than the high of $4.30 (6/21/08 - Findlay, OH, Shell 93), but I don't expect this to last forever.
