Dead/Rest Pedal Cover

So I ordered a set of the BMW Stainless Steel pedals as I thought they looked like a tasteful upgrade to the interior. Picture below.

However I did not order the Dead/Rest Pedal because:

1. It has a "M" logo and my car is not an M car
2. It cost twice the price of the set that I ordered that has the gas, clutch, and brake pedals.

Have you guys bought any "covers" from the auction site that would match up similar to this design? I seen one that was mostly black with some stainless accents and is applied with double sided tape that looked pretty decent.

Just wondering how it would hold up as replacing the dead pedal involves breaking the tabs pretty much off the old one, and fitting in a new one. If a cover works, I would be all for it.

Thanks!

I ran the pictured stainless steel BMW performance pedals on my 6-speed 135i, and later did the same for my DCT car which doesn't have a clutch pedal. Both were M Sport package cars, and I just left the M Sport factory dead pedal in place, even though it didn't match.

In your case, I would opt for the aluminum design, for which there is a matching dead pedal cover that does not have an M on it.

Also...I already have the other set on the way, so I can't change up know. But I will look at the foot rest you suggested and see how it may look along side the other set with photoshop.
