Just got our 2013 X1 xDrive35i M-Sport and 2011 1M Coupe back from being Gtechniq'd (I already had the wheels done on the 1M, but got caught out by an early snowfall about a month ago and prevented from waxing it).

Shoot too late! Get your 1er waxed or coated with something before winter!

I had major frost buildup on my GTI this morning...I put on the windshield wipers for one wipe and it was all gone!

Freaking amazing
Hey

I just got my G1/G2 in the mail yesterday. Did you use those cotton pads they gave with the G1 or did you use your own applicator. I'm just worried for fraying and having cotton lint everywhere. Any tips?

Yeah I used all of their cotton pads after the fourth car I did. No lint. When I did the fifth car I used my sister's makeup cotton balls. They work just as well.

Your dominant arm will get tired! Mine did, but maybe that's cuz I have a gf and it doesn't get the exercise it used to hahaha.

Take your time and be prepared to do a lot of circular motions with your hand.

LOL. I agree though. But I have been going to the gym quite a bit haha and plus, I'm only doing it on one car anyway.

Thanks for the info

Schedule at least a couple hours from start to finish. It is a longer process than i originally thought.

Btw my windows have yet to have frost or ice stick to it.
