agreed waiting sucks....i did it for almost 3 months on my Advan's and 5 months on my ICarbon diffuser that i just got....honestly well worth the wait if you like the product you are buying, but i get so impatient with it as well it drives me CRAZY...Let's face it Alufelgen is gonna come out with these rims GB or not and will be offereing them for a bit more money to many many other cat's without the wait right after our GB for sure..they have to make some money and that's cool.......we all no this is how it works but the MAIN reason to stay with this is you really have to LIKE the rims...and i DO, and would probably still buy them in 6 months without the GB so....Normal mesh or CSL rims are NOT as nice as these aggressive rims and if Alufelgen delivers like i think they will then it will be worth the wait to me.....I am down for it...my car will probably need new tires anyway by then...so i will use up my RFT...

This thread is pointless!! Alufelgen hasn't responded to anything so with that said, I'm joining the club and saying "I'm Out!"

This is quite sad...these are great looking wheels and we were up to 16 and would have gone higher had more info been given out.....now we are at 12....
Alufelgen...what's the deal. Is your silence a message that we should close this thread, jump ship and move on to another vendor? |

I hope not, I really want these at some point.
Even if they dont happen now I will get them (money pending) when they are made.

there is very few rim options out there for the 135i that are as nice as these at the GB price or for that matter even a little more. Especially if Alufelgen pulls this off with a concave design like they are showing.. I spent double this last time for my Advan's on my last ride and will not venture down that path again....just tooo much money for rims and the VMR replica's although nice are heavy and the finish not as nice as the Alufelgens. and i do not want a replica of my old Advan's...thought about it but no....I also WANT a 8" rim for the front and a 9" rim for the rear so i do not have rubbing or fender rolling issues. As these size rims will handle the right size tires for the 1 without the tires looking stretched like larger rims/tire combo's...The timing is good for me so i am down for the wait, or will buy these when they come out in DARK gunmetal or Matte Black.. Athough replacing the stockers in a few months, i actually like how the 264's look on my car so they are ok FTM. .IMO folks should hang with the GB till they find a suitable rim that they are happy with or make a purchase then drop out, but they will not find anything as concave or as sexy as this at this price...i have not seen it out there yet anyway....MAybe us die-hards will be rewarded with a $200+ savings in the end and a fine looking set of rims for Christmas...
But i am hoping Alufelgen comes on the forum with some positive info before this GB dies....or at least gives the remaining members a HUGE discount when the rims are released in a few months |

I think you are right... I had vmr csl's and the finish was shit, had to stretch tires, and were way too heavy. If I have the cash when these come out I will get a set.

I would put my name back on, but Alufelgen is dropping the ball in a major way with this GB. I mean if you really are going to do a GB then keep us up to date on what the heck is going on.

This is Carlos. I`m the owner of AluFelgen. Not sure why the thread hasn't been getting updated. I`ll follow up on this and have an update made as soon as possible.
I can tell you we have several other projects ahead of the 1-series SF-71s. One of the main reasons is demand. The 1-series market has not proven to be matured enough yet for 19". This is why we did a GB to see if we could get a few enthusiasts interested. Dropping out of the GB won't help much. It takes a lot resources to get this done so don't drop just because you are upset. Carlos
