Got around to digging into this paint to try and get it as close as possible to how it was brand new. It was a massive improvement but also realized that this car has had quite the life. Up close shots of how bad the swirls and scratches are were after a decon wash and clay bar. Last 4 photos were after a few passes with compound and polish.

Some little goodies to make her more fun (and eye catching). Burger Motorsports intake, VRSF Charge pipe, Ziza LED angel eye bulbs, and a Sprint Booster to get rid of the throttle lag.

Pretty excited about this one, I usually always debadge my cars but being that ours are special, i wanted to have something on the trunk. i always loved IND's black chrome badge options. Figured out that 135is badges pretty much don't exist, luckily IND was down to get creative and make it happen, and I love the result. Pics of black chrome, the process, and the factory chrome

I posted this in another thread, but thought it should live here. I drove her from Baltimore to Augusta, GA - TWICE in three weeks - knowing that it would clock me over 100k. Whatever - I wanted to stretch the Dinan legs. Gotta drive it to enjoy it. And I enjoyed all 2400 miles. One trip was all highway, and one was backroads. Both were memorable. No issues whatsoever, except all the pine pollen in SC/GA this time of year - my car was yellow. I got her cleaned in GA, and then stopped in Raleigh NC on the way back to clean her up again.

I may be biased, but Jet Black is made for this car.

Am more than likely to get a 135is this upcoming week (maybe tomorrow). My wife has a 2014 m235i. Does the 135is need/benefit from the same upgrades/mods as the m235i (larger intercooler, upgraded boost pipe and charge pipe)? It seems to be a well sorted car, only 78K miles. It was a former CPO car and has a good maint. history. Any advice is much appreciated. This is a car I've wanted for quite some time so am excited to compare it to my wife's car which is an absolute blast. It will be a weekend toy for me.
