iDrive gives me the ability to have timer operated climate control. That right there is worth the $2100 I spent on it. To have the fans going in my car, when I get to it after work is worth the dough to me.

I can also play DVD's on my iDrive and you can buy an after market module to turn off the safety feature and watch DVD while car is on drive - of course its for entertaining passengers
