Best lowering springs?
These will be purely for looks and cannot hurt the handling. I want only a one inch drop. Thoughts? I was thinking eibach, but the drop is too much.

Someone said they did Eibach, and it only lowered 3/4 inch. That would be perfect. Maybe I will do some more research on the Eibachs. |

Don't get The H&R OE Sports confused with the standard sports. the OE Sports don't have the huge amount rake like the standard Sports. The eibach lower the car more than the H&R OE Sport springs and I believe are a bit stiffer.

Can't go wrong with Eibach as they give you a nice even drop front to back. No rake. Here's mine on Eibach with Koni FSD shocks. Drop is at about 3/4" from stock and I have 5mm spacers on in this pic.

Go with the H&R OE Sport Springs in that case, they are designed to be a bit more compliant than the sports and would be a good option if you encounter rough conditions.

I put on my Eibach's yesterday. I must say, the backs are EXTREMELY easy to do, and the fronts are PITAs.
For the rears, it is literally 3 bolts on the passenger side, and 4 on the drivers (leveling sensor has to be un-bolted). You can do each side in 20 minutes without power tools. The fronts, man -o-man. The issue I had was compressing the springs on the strut while they were still in the fender. Luckily, I could come down from the top with my power tools and smash them down quick. I love the springs. Perfect drop for me, and the car still feels like it did prior to the springs. This is probably the 4 car I have used Eibach springs on, and have loved them all. |

The H&R Sports have a raked look where the front is slightly lower than the rear. I like it, I think it makes the car look aggressive and like it's about to pounce but some prefer an even drop so the Eibachs would be the way to go.
