The lux H8 v3 does fit the 1 series. We are working on updating our website to reflect the updated product compatability

So basically the LUX are mini LED lights rather than just bulbs?

I think I'm going to order both the white and the amber lux kits for mine. I really like the look of the amber and it would be cool to change between the two colors from time to time.

I tried some other led company and they didnt give enough output during the day to even notice they were turned on. I think the amber kit would be awesome at night and during the day

I have a question about the lux led kits though. I noticed that the reflectors for the rings in our 1 series are positioned a certain way. Can we be sure that the lux kit led's are in the right position so it will light the rings optimally?

I have done a lot of work with the 1-series headlight and the reflector is quite different on them. There is no 100% perfect solution because of the design of the headlight, but the LUX H8 V3's are designed to get the most light into the outer ring as possible. I have toyed around with an idea of replacing the stock reflector, but its next to impossible to remove the reflector due to space restrictions

PS - this is LUX Angel Eyes - its just my other screen name

That's what I was afraid of. I'm currently trying some that look ok during the night, but not so much during the day. Here is the design with pics installed. I liked this design because you can loosen screws at the base and change the angle of the led's depending on which setup you have, but no matter what angle you set these, it wouldn't line up directly with the 1'er reflector's. Maybe you could design a specific kit for us being that ours is different????? You would make a killing from everyone here I'm sure.

Not great during the day but good at night. As all the led kits I've used personally

Hey Marc, Just ordered the LUX amber kit. I hope they come sooner than the 29th. What's possibility that they will come before then?

So, when can we expect them to ship? If it's another month, just change my order to the regular set.
