It's 40% all around. I used Huper Optik which is apparently a pain to install but it's good stuff as it blocks UV rays and heat during the summer. I paid $450.
2011 135i's come with black 182's? Nice! Since the winter was so bad this year in the DC area I had to get snow tires and I left them on the silver stock rims. I mounted my summer tires on the 182's so now I have two sets ready to go. |

no....the 2011 didn't come with the 182's. i paid an "upcharge" to the dealer to get the 182s put on before i pick her up at the dealership. I had no interest in powdercoating the double spokes.
the set of rims was $1600 new (f@cks sake!). the dealer sold them to me for $800 but i sacrificed my sport wheel that came with the m sport pak. now i have oem black double spokes 182's and only paid about $400 more than if i powdercoated the original m-sports. some might have went the other way, but i didn't want the hassle or run the risk of someone fudgin up my rims. did you check out the other "murdered" 135i recently posted in the pic forum...man that's a sweet ride too. i may have to get some info from you about how you did some of your "finishing touches". again....nice job! enjoy the weather! |
