Is it officially passed now? I thought it went back to the governor for ratification. My brother just got a ticket two weeks ago parked downtown. I'm tempted to wait until all the moron meter maids have been updated.

Yeah it passed. LIke someone said, they tinter even printed out a copy of the new law for them to carry around. Also, on e90 post they emailed the chicago police to make sure they were aware of the new law. As well as I know a few cops and they are also aware of the new law. So, yes it has passed

Space82. I got mine at discount tire. I got 17inch drag dr-37 in silver which are CSL replicas that fit the oem center cap. For tires i got Hankook Ice Pikes 225 45 r17 all around. I paid around 1k for them mounted/balanced and installed. I then also got a 100 rebate. I didnt get new TPMS with them I just deal with the little light on the dash.
As well as Chris I just brought out the winter beater yesterday. The 2000 Mercury Cougar. |

Sounds good. I think I'm going to get the Blizzak WS60's to fit the stock rims. It came out to being $612 on Tire Rack. I just have to swap out the tires. However, Since the stock tires will be off the car, I will probably do new rims in the spring

Yeah I was going to go the route of just swaping tires. But hell it was like 120 bucks every time I would want them swapped. Basically 240 a year. I said f it and got new rims. And here are the pics.

Looks good. I figure I'll get new rims next spring, so I will only have to swap out the tires this winter and then put the stock tires on the new rims this spring. Well, thats the plan atleast.
