2008 135i, FBO, COBB 2+, CPO, awesome. Quick sale!
Hi there, I'd like to try and sell my 2008 135i that would be the best car you could purchase for the money on the planet. This sale price is very low, $22,500, as the car has a couple things that need dealing with. If you can deal with just a couple of small issues, you can get one of the best 135is out there at probably the best deal in the country. This car has been absolutely flawless for over two years at COBB Stage 2+, only needing new spark plugs and two new coil packs in that time. Why pay $19k for a stock 135i that will probably have problems once you start tuning it? Buy this little monster, and starting enjoying it the second you buy it. It is a FAST, evil little car. Anyway, it's a 2008 135i, 6-speed, with a bunch of nice mods to it. I've put a little over $10k worth of stuff into it. Here are the cars specs: - 2008 135i - 6-Speed - 54,xxx miles - Heated seats - CPO warranty until September 2014. The car was a lease before I bought it, and I purchased it from Autohaus BMW here in STL. (Not sure how effective it will be with the mods done to the car however). - Car runs perfectly, and the only problem with it I've ever experienced were both headlights burned out after a deluge this past winter. Headlights were fully replaced with brand new units by BMW. - Car has never been raced, nor taken to the track. MOD LIST: - Exotics Tuning carbon front flippers. - AA Front Mount Intercooler, their big one. - BMI dual intakes. - ER charge pipe with an HKS SSBOV. - COBB Tuner, currently running Stage 2+ - ///M Door sills and Floot Mats. - Carbon interior wrap. - Macht Schnell downpipes. - Meistercraft (sp) midpipes. - Inside performance quad exhaust, and carbon diffusor. Exhaust note sounds fantastic. No droning and rips at wot. - Slek Carbon fiber trunk. - LCI tail lights. - VMR V70 wheels in 19", custom painted. TIRES ARE BRAND NEW. Continental Extreme Contact DWs, 235/35/19 front, and 275/30/19 rear). NO RUBBING EVER on stock suspension. One rear wheel has some rash, which I believe was done by a valet. Didn't see it until the next day, so too late to blame them. - Stock brake calipers, but powdercoated rally yellow with black Brembo stamp. BMW performance rotors in the front, stock rotors in rear, with Cool Carbon brake pads and Stoptech stainless lines. All parts were new when installed. - Carbon Mirror caps, but not the expensive BMW ones. - Angel Eyes. - Black grills. AS WELL, *ALL* STOCK PARTS ARE INCLUDED IN MY SALE PRICE EXCEPT FOR THE STOCK WHEELS AND TIRES WHICH ARE GONE. I HAVE EVERYTHING STOCK WHICH WAS SWITCHED, FROM THE INTERCOOLER, TO THE AIRBOX, TO THE TRUNK LID, ALL THE EXAHUST PIPES, EVEN THE DOOR SILLS AND FLOORMATS. WHOEVER BUYS THIS CAR WILL HAVE THE ABILITY TO RETURN IT TO STOCK AT ANYTIME. THE ONLY "STOCK" PARTS I DON'T HAVE ARE THE BRAKE CALIPERS AND WHEELS. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COST OF SHIPPING ALL STOCK PARTS IF THEY CANNOT BE PICKED UP AT TIME OF PURCHASE. ALL STOCK PARTS ARE IN BOXES AND READY TO BE SHIPPED EXCEPT FOR THE MIDPIPES AND EXHAUST. With install, all my mods are well over $10k. Everything on the car works awesome, it's a flawless machine that has incredible peformance. It attracts attention everywhere it goes, and is an absolute joy to drive. DO NOT CONTACT ME AND ASK ME TO PART THE CAR OUT. IF I DONT SELL THE CAR ENTIRELY, IM KEEPING IT. YES I KNOW I CAN SELL THE PARTS, THEN THE CAR, AND MAKE MORE MONEY. IVE BEEN MODDING CARS FOR YEARS AND YOU CANT TELL ME ANYTHING I DON'T ALREADY KNOW. ANY MESSAGES SENT TO ME ABOUT PARTING IT OUT, SWAPPING PARTS, ETC WILL BE COMPLETELY IGNORED, SO DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MINE. SORRY TO BE SO BLUNT, BUT I GUARANTEE MY REQUEST WILL BE IGNORED BY AT LEAST 10 PEOPLE HERE ANYWAY. NOW FOR THE ISSUES 1. Small dent on the passenger's side A-pillar (see photos). My nephew hit it with a pop fly softball. I was quoted $275 for repair by paintless dent wizard. 2. There is a slight feedback, a *clicking* if you will in the speakers. It's been this way for a couple years, and I never dealt with it. The radio/CD player still works fine, and you cannot even hear this clicking with the engine on. Most people in the car don't hear it regardless, but I don't like surprises when buying a car so there it is. 3. Like most FBO 135is (if not all), the car does pipe out a bit of smoke from time to time when coming to a stop. This is generally after 10-15 minutes of first turning the car on. It only puffs on stopping, and this is a well known issue on all 135is that are catless. The puffing has been there for over two years (since the day I removed my downpipes), and has not become any worse. It's no issue at all, but I don't want a prospective buyer freaking out and thinking something is wrong with the car when in reality it's a tank. There are NO leaks under the car or anywhere else. The car just has leaky turbo seals like every other 135i, and any 135i will do this once you remove all the cats. Thanks. The car is located in Chesterfield, Missouri, which is a suburb of St. Louis. I can ship the car, pick you up at the airport, etc. Thanks for your consideration. You can PM me here, or email me at: nickcigich@hotmail.com PRICE WITH SMALL DENT IS $22,500 PRICE WITH DENT FIXED IS $22,750 THANK YOU!! Oops, forgot to mention, NO accidents ever, and NO bodywork ever. Car is pristine. Thanks. Last edited by NickyC; 06-16-2014 at 10:24 PM.. |

Hi everyone,
Thank you for your interest in my car, I have now replied to all emails/PMs. The common question I'm getting is in regards to the occasional puffing of smoke that I mentioned. This issue happens on ALL catless 135i's. Remember, my car is a straight through with NO cats. For information on the topic, please check out this 1 Addicts thread. Also, please note that I personally responded in post #6 of the thread well over a year ago, so this isn't some issue I'm trying to pass off on someone else (look at my trader feedback as well). The car is an absolute tank, and absolute rocket that is as healthy as ever. http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=814301 If you don't want the smoke, you could always put the cats back on (downpipes/mids). However, you're going to lose a ton of power and will have to scale back the COBB tune. Please let me know if you have anymore questions, thanks! |

Hi everyone,
I've replied to all emails now as of Sunday night, and the car is still available. I could wait no longer on the tires, so I just ordered a brand new set of Continental Extreme Contact DWs in 235/35/19 front, and 275/30/19 rear. Cost will be a little over $1k installed. These are awesome tires, with serious width out back to deal with the high horsepower and torque. Stop screwing around with 135is and dinky little 235s in the back and ill fitting wheels that just spin all day in 1st through 2nd gear. Tires will probably be installed on Friday or Saturday this coming week, so the little monster will have new shoes. Price has been updated to reflect this, and you still won't find a better, faster, or more reliable 135i in the country for this price. Destroy all M3s for 1/3 the price! Also installed new Bosch wiper blades today, OH BOY YOU WANT THE CAR NOW DON'TCHA!!!! ;D Thanks! |

Hi again. Tires were a little late in arriving as the rears were delayed, so they'll be going on early next week. Check out those 275s baby, so much nicer than dinky, girly little 235s in the back!

Hi again. Car is still for sale, and I finally got the new tires installed this week. They are Continental Extreme Contact DWs in sizes 275/30/19 rear and 235/35/19 front. This is a 135i that certainly doesn't look like a roller skate with dinky 235s or 245s in the rear. Car is just planted and ready to go, let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

As stated in the first post, the stock wheels are no longer available as I sold them. These are the only parts (besides the stock calipers) that will not be included in the sale. I have all other parts which will go to the buyer. Sorry for my wall of text first post, I tried to be as descriptive as possible and there's a lot in there. The car is an absolute steal at this price, not to mention it has $1k in brand new rubber on it. Thanks for your interest! |

Car is still for sale, and I'm quite amazed. Just more evidence of how awful our economy is for the middle class and anyone not in the .01%. This time last year, I had offers of $29k for the car. Tough times indeed. Thanks. |

Thanks for your interest. Apologies, but I'm not quite sure. The seats are manual, but heated. The car doesn't have NAV, and I believe it has the sports package? Not sure what comfort access is, apologies. Please let me know if you need anything else. Thanks again.

Yep, still for sale. I kind of go back and forth on selling it, but if somebody can get close to my price, they'll get the nicest 135i in the country. Thanks!

Thanks for the info Febul, my car does NOT have comfort access.
Thanks for the interest everyone. I wanted to update this thread real quick. I sort of hem and haw back and forth about selling the car, but I've located a vehicle today in town that I'd like to try and get. Due to this, I'll lower my asking price to $21,000 even In addition, I'll have the oil changed at my local BMW prior to you picking up the car. Hit me up if interested, thanks! |

Ugh, sorry to hear this Zulu. Glad you're OK. If you do indeed need to get a car, hit me up please. There isn't a better deal in the country right now on a 135i.
