Request: Fan/shroud electric socket housing
So my wiring harness socket housing needs to be swapped due to the plastic clips breaking. However, I cannot figure out how to pull the wires without damaging the metal clips. Anyone ever do this?
So far I've figured out the hidden plastic t-piece that exposes metal on bigger wires but there are no tabs to be pushed on. When I pull on the wires I get no moment and really don't want to deadline my car this weekend if I don't have to. Here's the socket part number: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/part...&q=61136900536 Any ideas? Pull harder or is there a hidden metal tab I'm missing?

Zip tie the two ends together?
I haven't had to re-pin one before but have a look for any small latches etc that can be pryed up or pushed down |
