Just got around to doing the short shifter ... I will be doing the springs tomorrow ... I just finished washing the car so I plan on going to take some "Before" shots of the height (although I am pretty sure all of us know how high it is).

Overall impression is that the car is actually more comfortable then it was before (which is weird to me) but stays flatter through turns. I only did the springs (not the full suspension kit) which I was a little weary of but they actaully feel perfectly damped for the springs. I will take more pictures and update next week as I am expecting the springs to settle in a little lower. Currently the front is at about 1.5 finger gap and the rear is at 2 finger gap.
As Promised here are before and after pics: BEFORE REAR: BEFORE FRONT: AFTER REAR: AFTER FRONT (yes the lens cover is there): Some pictures i took before the suspension that i liked and thought I'd share: |

@Apiasto what shock do you have? Msport or Non-sport
Im intrigued by your statement that Perf springs are a good comfort on your older shocks

Still likely will be. Lowering springs on shocks not designed for that operating range will cause premature failure.

I knew that going in but I was curious to see how they would feel on the stock shocks (and I was impatient to wait for the FSD)... I will do the FSD shocks once I purchase the M3 lower control arms, rear subframe bushings and front sway

First off all, your looks great.
I did the same thing, bought H&R lowering springs on a stock suspension. Granted it was on a different car, but I nuked those struts after only a few months. The sooner you get those Koni's the better. Also, Koni's have been on back order since May. Try to find a vendor with them in stock already. |
