TPMS question
Does our TPMS system trigger on tire differences between tires, or on differences between them and the reference value set on the computer?
Ie, if I have 4 tires, and all lose 5 lbs over several months so that they all exhibit the same amount of departure from the stored computer value, will the system trigger?

Yes, it will trigger once the pressure on one or more tires drops below a certain value. I see it happen when the weather starts getting cool and the pressure drops.

TPMS is triggered by the PSI level the tire is currently at. Once the PSI is below what is recommended, the light and chime will go off to notify you of the flat or low PSI.
