Now sure, it has the exhaust and suspension (which I would like).

I've decided that although I think it looks very cool and unique, it kills one of the original reasons I was going to get a 1M, and that is it makes financial sense. In my mind, if I buy a 1M and put relatively few miles on it (not a problem, my commute is like 3 miles and I barely do 6k miles a year on my car) the car should not lose too much value. My logic is that I could own a 1M for 3 years, and end up having the cost be similar to an accord (because I'm sure it will lose SOME value, and there will be some repairs and insurance will be higher). But if I bought this one, its kind of a gamble because not many buyers are going to be comfortable with it. It may end up being worth less. Also, even though it looks to have been done well, the whole car ultimately was disassembled at one point and its just a scary prospect. I really want a car to just enjoy and not worry about paint bubbling up or the roof coming loose or whatever else may come. I dunno, maybe I'll change my mind again, but right now I'd feel way better about a VO stripper (but with bluetooth) with 20k miles for $52k.
On top of the paint and roof concerns, to install the CCM-R brakes it had the original brake shield for the rear has to be removed, and the front cut to allow for the larger disc size which may deter buyers further.

I Love the color, but I would have wrapped the car instead of painting it. The carbon roof is awesome. I think BMW should have done that to the 1M.😃
The cars history just seems iffy. There are some awesome 1M's for sale right now in the states.
A VO with 2500miles and a AW with 5500miles. I just hope I can afford one in the next few years.

The car is back up for sale again, this time in Jacksonville FL. I really want to like the car, but it seems the thing bounces between owners a lot. Does anyone on here know anymore of the history on this car?

My general feeling here is that everyone wants to mod their car (to varying degrees)... but no one wants to buy a modified car.
Amen! Yes, part of what made it so difficult to find the right 1M for me is that everyone modifies and "Tunes." Most people don't want that when they look for a used one. Colors are personal, but for all the effort I never liked the color. I would've loved to see this in a blue for example.

Boom!...Yes, that would've been a great mod. Whenever I see a salvaged 1M, my thoughts turn to Interlagos Blue. Happy Easter. Wish i could join you!
