By memory my M3 driveline was $4-5k from the uk including p&h and shipping.
The M3 diff is superior to a n54/n55 diff with a diff centre, and it has beefier half shafts, upgraded subframe bushes and if you're lucky all the M3 aluminium suspension components and m3 hubs and brakes |

Our cars have the flange for guibo, no way i would change to the spline style...would be a downgrade as theres been a fair few reports of the splined style failing in modded cars |

I have a 6mt 135 and looking for diff solution at the moment. also have a early auto 335 diff/shafts/driveshaft out of a wreck for the better ratio. have noticed the difference in front flange, was hoping these were interchangable. |

So for anyone interested - the best pricing I have found is $4k from an Australian workshop to modify my pumpkin and install a wavetrac/quaife LSD. That's with new bearings and seals (not sure about oil). I would have to pay for postage to the workshop, but return postage is included. Roughly 10day turnaround (plus postage times).

For those who had expressed interest, we now have our new 2.56, 2.81 and 3.08 Ring & Pinions ready.
These are a fully bolted design and come with ring gear bolts to bolt to the LSD. You are NOT limited to only the MFactory LSD; these will work with any aftermarket LSD. We also have our Shim Kits available (finally! Sorry for the delay) now for both small and large cores. The kits consist of custom c-clips and shims that we designed and will cut the install time by upto 50% when installing and setting up the LSD. |

Having LSD wont save your from this happening, you need to upgrade the driveshaft and and upgrade the suspension. DSS (Drive Shaft Shop) can make a drive shaft. |

A question for MFactory:
My understanding from this thread is that US spec 135i shares the 335i Crown Wheel and Pinion and that AU (Australian) and EU (European) 135i's have a different spec Crown Wheel and Pinion installed when shipped new. My understanding is also that the MFactory Crown Wheel and Pinion set is manufactured to suit the US spec 135i (i.e. the same as the 335i) only and that if this was installed on an EU or AU spec 135i that the secondary section of the drive shaft would need to be altered to suit the different pinion length / connection. If the above are all correct can MFactory please confirm if they are willing / planning to manufacture a (3.08 at least) Crown Wheel and Pinion set to suit EU and AU 135i's? |
