Those of you who've done the 2 piece bushings, disconnected brake lines or no?
I did not undo the brake lines but I should have. I noticed last year when I was doing my E90 hub swap the lines were leaking. They were definitely under stress when I did the swap. I would advice undoing them.

No, but I used two jacks to control the subframe drop, and the brake lines were stretched pretty far.
Keep an eye on those lines. I did mine 5 years ago and did not notice any leaking till last year. Definitely caused by leaving them connected when I did the bushings. There was a lot of stress on those lines.

Is the place to disconnect where caliper flexible line joins the hard pipe (#11 on the linked diagram) or at the other flexible line (#7 on the linked diagram) or both?

Right were the number 10 is. The top of the flexible line #7 is virtually impossible without dropping the subframe. I tried undoing it there first when replacing the lines. Ended up taking it to my mechanic and he had to drop the subframe to get at them. The joint at at #10 I presume would easy but I didn't attempt it.

So it's where flexible hose #11 connects to pipes #8 and #9? Asking b/c there are 4 circled #10's on the diagram.

Hose 7. It will be very obvious when you're under the car. Hose 7 wraps over the subframe.
